EKTOMORF Singer: We Are 'Negotiating' With AFM RECORDS
April 21, 2008Vocalist Zoltn Farkas of the Hungarian hardcore/thrash metallers EKTOMORF has issued a statement denying that the band has signed a new deal with AFM Records.
Despite the fact that EKTOMORF's official MySpace page was updated yesterday with an announcement that a deal with AFM had already been inked, Farkas writes in a new online posting, "EKTOMORF didn't sign to AFM, they are negotiating with AFM. The news yesterday wasn't true."
EKTOMORF recently completed the "Ambushing Europe Tour 2008" with STUCK MOJO, VENGINCE and TENSIDE.
The band's latest album, entitled "Outcast", was released in October 2006 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at Antfarm Studios in Aarhus, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, MNEMIC, WITCHERY, RAUNCHY, HIMSA) and features a cover of the PRODIGY classic "Fuel My Fire".
