ELEVEN SEVEN MUSIC Announces Expansion

April 14, 2009

Eleven Seven Music has announced the formation of Five Seven Music for its more alternative releases to complement the rock roster. Under the umbrella of The Eleven Seven Music Group, the two labels will have individual staff heading the label management, radio and new media/mobile divisions and will share services for marketing, branding, publicity international, touring, merchandising, third party licensing and strategic partnership support under the label group. Allen Kovac, Founder and CEO of The Eleven Seven Music Group announced this new structure for handling the growing success at the company.

"With the escalating growth and accomplishments of the artists on our rock roster, we saw an opportunity to create a new label to best nurture our alternative releases. The companies will work together with the same mission — to identify and reach the fans directly through research, innovative marketing and online campaigns combining with integrated strategic positioning," notes Kovac.

Sam Alpert will helm Five Seven Music, with Jackie Kajzer being elevated to VP of Radio and Promotion and Bailey Vance overseeing new media for the new label. Frank Woodworth will continue in his role as General Manager of Eleven Seven Music with Jeremy Gruber overseeing the new media and mobile elements and Sr. VP of Marketing and Promotion Steve Kline guiding the radio staff. Kline's responsibilities include oversight of marketing and promotion for The Label Group.

"With a structure similar to Warner/Reprise, Five Seven and Eleven Seven will be run as individual labels along with the added power of our services staff. Eleven Seven Music has had such great success (at radio) with SIXX A.M., DROWNING POOL, MÖTLEY CRÜE, BUCKCHERRY and TRAPT. This strategic move will best position our records, super-serve our artists, and enable us to work more closely with our radio and new media and mobile partners," says Steve Kline.

Along with the label expansion, Kovac announced that Lisa Van Zuidam assumes the position of Chief Operating Officer for The Eleven Seven Music Group. "Lisa has been an incredible leader for the past three years as CFO and as we grow and succeed, it only makes sense for her to have oversight for the operations," states Allen Kovac.

As the Music Group grows, Lewis Kovac's interim consultancy for the company comes to an end. Says Van Zuidam, "Lewis helped establish the footprint for the labels in Europe and added his experience to mentor the managers and staff at Tenth Street Entertainment. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors."

The Music Group's MÖTLEY CRÜE, DROWNING POOL and CHARM CITY DEVILS have just been announced as part of Crüe Fest 2, the follow-up to the top rock festival of last summer. Plans for global expansion will be announced over the next weeks.
