ELLIOTT'S KEEP To Enter Studio In The Spring

January 31, 2010

Dallas, Texas-based "metal doom" trio ELLIOTT'S KEEP will enter b>Nomad Studios (SOLITUDE AETURNUS, KING DIAMOND, ABSU) in Carrollton, Texas in late spring to begin recording its sophomore album for a late 2010 release via Brainticket Records.

Commented the band: "The writing of our new album is completed. All that remains is finalizing the arrangements for the last two tracks.

"The album's title will be 'Sine Qua Non', which is Latin for 'without this nothing' — which means, 'without this part of my life, the rest would be meaningless.'

"The album will be comprised of nine tracks and will run approximately 65 minutes.

"We will be debuting three or four of the new tracks at the Dallas Doom Daze III festival in April."

ELLIOTT'S KEEP's debut album, "In Medias Res" (from the Latin for "in the middle of things"),was released in November 2008 through Brainticket Records.

Life-long metal disciples, ELLIOTT'S KEEP stakes its claim to its own "metal doom" territory. With influences as diverse as SOLITUDE AETURNUS, AMON AMARTH, BLIND GUARDIAN and EPICA, you can count on a quality HEAVY listening experience with ELLIOTT'S KEEP.
