ELVENKING Frontman Offers Update On LEPRECHAUN Project

March 8, 2006

ELVENKING/LEPRECHAUN frontman Damnagoras has posted the following message on the LEPRECHAUN web site:

"Many things have happened in these 2 years. I got back with ELVENKING and I had a very busy period preparing the new album, then recording it and now preparing the tour for 'The Winter Wake'. Many have asked me what it's going to happen with LEPRECHAUN... many have said that I was going to give up this project and even my LEPRECHAUN bandmates are asking me what it's gonna happen. Actually the situation hasn't changed a lot... I mean, I've been very busy but in the meantime I've tried to search for a good label with which I want to release the album. At the moment I haven't found the right deal, but I'm gonna try harder. I think that the songs written for this album are really strong and they're especially part of a particular period of my life and I really want to release them sooner or later. If I can't find a good deal at this stage, I think that I will start thinking of getting LEPRECHAUN into a studio anyway and record the full lenghth. Then, with the entire album in hand it will be easier. Anyway this project will get a release sooner or later for many reasons: 1) many fans are asking for it, 2) I want to have these songs on an album 'cause I really think they're worth it, 2) and I owe this to my band mates too: Francesco, Whisperwind and Enrico who are still supporting me and really believe in this project!"
