EMPIRE Finishes Recording New Album

EMPIRE, the brainchild of German guitarist Rolf Munkes (MAJESTY, RAZORBACK, VANIZE),has finished recording its fourth album for a November release via Metal Heaven/Soulfood. More details will be made available soon.

EMPIRE's third CD, "Raven Ride", was released in May 2006. The follow-up to 2003's "Trading Souls" (Lion Music) featured guest appearances by singer Tony Martin (ex-BLACK SABBATH),drummer Andre Hilgers (AXXIS, SILENT FORCE, RAZORBACK) and bassist Neil Murray (WHITESNAKE, BLACK SABBATH, M3). Martin and Murray had both appeared on "Trading Souls", which featured additional contributions from DEEP PURPLE keyboardist Don Airey and current HAMMERFALL/ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN drummer Anders Johansson.
