EMPIRES OF EDEN Signs With 7HARD RECORDS

EMPIRES OF EDEN, the brainchild of PAINDIVISION/ex-DUNGEON guitarist Stu Marshall, has inked a deal with 7Hard Records for the U.S. and European territories. The band's sophomore album, "Reborn In Fire", will feature "an all-star cast of metal's finest voices," according to a press release. Due in June, the CD boasts "enormous production backed by a 30-piece orchestral score."

"Reborn In Fire" "delivers an epic and aggressive power metal assault in the style of AVANTASIA and the collaborative genius of AYREON." It is capped off with the "incredible" artwork by celebrated U.S. artist Alex Ruiz.

Commented Marshall: "It's an understatement to say we are excited about the new signing and we have been looking for the right label to partner with. The word was out that 7Hard are one of the best emerging labels out there and Axel's commitment to the bands is excellent.

"This new CD features some of metal’s most recognizable voices and in a unique twist; they have all composed their own lyrical and melodic concepts."

Australia's EMPIRES OF EDEN is a collection of melodic power metal that has garnered unanimous praise worldwide. Incorporating huge melodic hooks, blistering guitar performances and a fresh approach to song writing, the debut was a massive success in Japan, released by Rubicon Records in July 2009.
