ENEMY REMAINS Featuring Original FATES WARNING Drummer: First Shows Announced
February 21, 2007ENEMY REMAINS, the Newington, Connecticut-based band featuring original FATES WARNING drummer Steve Zimmerman, has announced its first two shows. The quintet will be playing the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT on March 7 with PSYCHOSTICK, and will also be playing at The Riverside in Danielson, CT on March 9 with JADED, SHATTERSPHERE, END-TIME ILLUSION, and VICIOUS CYCLE. More dates are being scheduled now.
ENEMY REMAINS last fall recorded a four-song demo at HG Recording studio in Deltona, Florida. The group reportedly spent a week living at the studio to write and arrange the tracks on this demo. Check out the songs "Live for Today", "Breathe Again", "Never Forget" and "Upside Down" at the band's MySpace page.
ENEMY REMAINS was formed in late November 2005 by Zimmerman and former members of Zimmerman's previous group, MILLENNIUM X (Tom Blardo on guitar and Brian Doyle on bass),along with Brett Betterton on guitar. After spending a considerable amount of time searching for the right singer, they eventually hired Kevin Flowers from Arizona to complete the group's lineup.
Zimmerman appeared on FATES WARNING's first three studio albums: 1984's "Night on Brocken", 1985's "The Spectre Within" and 1986's "Awaken the Guardian".
