ENGEL: Performance Footage Of Two New Songs Available
September 5, 2009Quality video footage of ENGEL — the Gothenburg, Sweden-based quintet featuring guitarists Marcus Sunesson (ex-THE CROWN) and Niclas Engelin (PASSENGER, ex-GARDENIAN, IN FLAMES),drummer Mojjo (RELEVANT FEW, DRACENA) and vocalist Mangan Klavborn — performing two new songs earlier tonight (Saturday, September 5) at the Cave rock club in Sundbyberg (Stockholm),Sweden can be viewed below (courtesy of "framednoise").
ENGEL will support British gothic metal pioneers PARADISE LOST on their upcoming U.K. tour. Also scheduled to appear is KATATONIA.

ENGEL completed work on its sophomore album at PUK studio in Gjerlev, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, HIMSA, SICK OF IT ALL). The band is currently seeking a new label home following its split with SPV Records (which issued ENGEL's debut album, "Absolute Design", in 2007).
"Absolute Design" received its long-awaited U.S. release on May 20, 2008 via SPV/Steamhammer.
IN FLAMES frontman Anders Fridén helped his old friend Niclas (they both played together in PASSENGER) record demos and assisted in the production of the "Absolute Design" CD at Dug-Out Studios in Uppsala with Daniel Bergstrand (producer of IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH).
