ENGEL: Video Interview Available

January 17, 2008

Germany's RockInvasion.de recently conducted an interview with guitarists Marcus Sunesson (ex-THE CROWN) and Niclas Engelin (PASSENGER, ex-GARDENIAN, IN FLAMES) of the Gothenburg, Sweden-based quintet ENGEL. Watch the clip at this location (click on "Pain" in the scroll-down menu on the right).

ENGEL recently traveled to Serbia to film videos for two as-yet-undisclosed songs off the group's debut album, "Absolute Design".

ENGEL is currently streaming its debut album, "Absolute Design", in its entirety on the band's new web site (in the "Album" section).

IN FLAMES frontman Anders Fridén helped his old friend Niclas (both played together in PASSENGER) record demos and assisted in the production of the CD at Dug-Out Studios in Uppsala with Daniel Bergstrand (producer of IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH).

Watch fan-filmed video footage of ENGEL performing the song "In Splendour" live at the Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton, UK on November 15, 2007:
