ENTOMBED Confirmed For U.K.'s BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR

June 23, 2009

Swedish metal veterans ENTOMBED have been confirmed for this year's Bloodstock Open Air festival, set to take place August 14-16, 2009 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England.

Commented ENTOMBED guitarist Alex Hellid: "Yes, finally! Back to the U.K.! Look forward to Bloodstock very very much! It’s been way too long and ENTOMBED are extremely delighted to return to our second home after what seems to be an eternity. Great bands too, I see!!! We have not been to U.K. since Masters Of Death 2006, so we're really looking forward to some mushy peas and late night curries by now!!"

As widely expected, the new band calling itself FEAR FACTORY — featuring original FF members Dino Cazares (guitar) and Burton C. Bell (vocals) alongside bassist Byron Stroud (who played on the last two FEAR FACTORY albums in addition to touring and recording with STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and ZIMMERS HOLE) and legendary drummer Gene Hoglan (DETHKLOK, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, DARK ANGEL, DEATH, TESTAMENT) — has officially cancelled its appearance at the event.
