EPHEL DUATH: Hard At Work On New Album
June 2, 2005Italian jazz-metal combo EPHEL DUATH are currently holed up in Studio 73 in Ravenna, Italy with producer Paso recording the follow-up to their acclaimed album "The Painter's Palette". The upcoming CD, tentatively titled "Pain Necessary to Know", is slated for an October release.
Commented guitarist Davide Tiso: "With all drums, bass and guitars in the can all that remains to record are some 'exotic and esoteric' instruments before mixing begins." Working songtitles include "I Killed Rebecca", "Few Stars", "Imploding", "Christalline Whirl", "New Disorder", "Pleonasm", "Glockenspiel" and "Vector", a three-part epic.
