Dutch female-fronted symphonic metallers EPICA have announced their rescheduled Mexican and Colombian tour dates. They are as follows:

March 14 - Skyros - San Luis Potosi, Mexico
March 15 - Country San Maunuel - Puebla, Mexico
March 16 - Cafe Iguana - Monterrey, Mexico

March 20 - Circo Volador - Mexico City, Mexico
March 21 - Teatro Estudio Cavaret - Guadalajara, Mexico
March 23 - Teatro Jorge Eliecer Gaitan - Bogota, Colombia

EPICA was forced to postpone its original Mexican and Colombian tour due to an illness suffered by the group's lead singer, Simone Simons.

On the eve of EPICA's recent live appearances in Greece, Elena Mihailidou and Vasilis Mazaris of Metalzone.gr conducted an interview with Simone Simons. Simone talked about the experience of playing live for the first time ever in Thessaloniki and being part of the first-ever March Metal Day. She also discussed her recent health problems, the band's new album and the group's upcoming touring actvities. She said her favorite EPICA album is the latest one and she described the difficulties of releasing a DVD after leaving Transmission Records and signing a deal with Nuclear Blast. Simone also talked about how bonded she feels with her band and how she wouldn't leave EPICA in order to join another group, even if it were NIGHTWISH, as the rumor suggested when Tarja Turunen was fired from the band. She also talked about her idols and how she is still evolving as a singer, and she feels female vocals in the metal scene aren't just a passing trend.

Nuclear Blast Records released a limited deluxe CD edition in Europe of EPICA's new album, "The Divine Conspiracy", featuring the bonus tracks "Higher High" and "Replica" (FEAR FACTORY cover),video clips and a "making-of" enhanced section.

As previously reported, EPICA has been confirmed as the support act for SYMPHONY X on their upcoming North American tour in April/May.
