ERIC AVERY To Join Former JANE'S ADDICTION Bandmate DAVE NAVARRO On 'Spread TV'

The debut full-length "Help Wanted" from Eric Avery, seminal bassist and co-founder of JANE'S ADDICTION, was released this week by L.A.'s Dangerbird Records (SILVERSUN PICKUPS, SEA WOLF, DARKER MY LOVE). In support, Avery is making his rounds across the States, stopping at designated radio stations, to discuss this beautifully dark collection, his previous projects and any additional musings the articulate artist cares to share.

Avery will join his former JANE'S bandmate Dave Navarro on Dave's weekly "Spread TV" show on ManiaTV, Thursday, April 17 at 11 p.m. EST. Although the two have remained long-term friends, this is the first time Avery and Navarro will appear together on camera since the JANE'S breakup. With their shared experiences in JANE'S as well as DECONSTRUCTION, nothing will be off limits in this setting for candid, free-form conversation.

The first single from the amazingly lush collection, "All Remote and No Control" is densely layered with electronics and effects propelled by Avery's baritone. The accompanying video (see below) is an interesting interpretation that parallels the dark and moody nature of the song. While Avery has chosen the path of a lone journeyman, this album has inspired his inherent artistic and introspective nature.
