ETHEREAL COLLAPSE Part Ways With Bassist, Seek Replacement

February 4, 2006

Wilkes-Barre, PA-based melodic death metal band ETHEREAL COLLAPSE have issued the following update:

"In a VERY unfortunate turn of events, we have parted ways with our bass player Tom, and we are in need of a replacement. We are all deeply saddened by his departure. His presence was unmistakable and his playing unmatched. Parting ways with such an excellent musician and dear friend is going to be hard on all of us, but we're determined to soldier on. Be sure to watch out for him and our buddies in PUTREFIED FLESH, as they will be all over the place pretty soon.

"The qualifications are simple: you must be able to play our material, have good, reliable equipment, have some touring availability, and most importantly, be willing to make this band your top priority in terms of musical projects.

"If you are interested, get at us on MySpace immediately! Or you can e-mail us at [email protected]."

ETHEREAL COLLAPSE, who inked a deal with Innerstrength Records last June, are currently putting the finishing touches on their debut album, "Breaching the Citadel". A spring release date is expected.
