EUROPE To Perform On Swedish National Television

Reunited Swedish hard rockers EUROPE will be the featured musical guests on "TV Huset" on Sunday, September 26 on Sweden's SVT 1. The band will perform their new single, "Got to Have Faith", for the first time on Swedish national TV.

In other news, EUROPE guitarist John Norum and his wife Michelle (of PHANTOM BLUE and MELDRUM fame) recently welcomed their first child, described as "a healthy big boy, [and] most certainly a guitarist in training already."

As previously reported, EUROPE have inked a deal with Sanctuary Records. The group's new studio album, "Start From the Dark", is scheduled for release on September 27 through T&T/Sanctuary.

The group's first collection of new material since 1991's "Prisoners In Paradise", "Start From the Dark" was produced by Kevin Elson (who had previously worked with EUROPE on their multi-platinum 1986 release, "Final Countdown") and is said to feature a "heavier" direction, in the vein of the group's earlier albums. A video for "Got to Have Faith" has been posted online at this location (Windows Media).
