October 10, 2007

EVANESCENCE's MySpace page has been updated with the following message:

"Amy Lee of EVANESCENCE has a bunch of TV appearances coming up soon. Mark your calendars to catch Amy Lee on 'The View' on October 15 where she'll perform 'Good Enough' live! Also on the 15th, Ms. Amy Lee will stop by 'The Sauce' on Fuse TV and grace our ears with her pipes. Don't miss Amy Lee on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' on October 19th. She'll also be appearing on the Scream Awards on Spike TV on October 19th! Make sure to tune in!"

EVANESCENCE debuted its new lineup on May 19 at the Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio. The touring band now includes guitarist Troy McLawhorn and drummer Will Hunt, both of DARK NEW DAY, who replaced John LeCompt and Rocky Gray.

EVANESCENCE frontwoman Amy Lee married New York-based therapist Josh Hartzler on May 6.

The singer is also a national spokesperson for the Epilepsy Foundation's "Out of the Shadows" campaign and has met with teens living with epilepsy while on tour. Lee has a 13-year-old brother afflicted with the disease.

The last single from the band's "The Open Door" album was "Good Enough".
