EVERGREY Frontman To Guest On New EMERGENCY GATE Album

February 18, 2010

EVERGREY frontman Tom Englund has recorded a guest appearance on the new album from German metallers EMERGENCY GATE, entitled "The Nemesis Construct". According to EMERGENCY GATE, Tom "sings one track together with [EMERGENCY GATE vocalist] Matthias [Kupka] — and the two voices fit perfectly."

Due on April 30 via Twilight Zone Records, "The Nemesis Construct" was recorded at Dreamscape Studios in Munich and features artwork (see below) by Raf W., who has previously worked with METALLICA, SLAYER, IRON MAIDEN and SOULFLY, among others.

EMERGENCY GATE last year parted ways with drummer Chris "The Machine" Widmann and replaced him with Dominik "Capricorn Khaos" Scholz. The band said, "Dominik has been the session drummer of LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE and the former drummer of ZOO ARMY. He already played with us as a session drummer during the Chaos Over Europe Tour with KREATOR."

EMERGENCY GATE's most recent album, "Rewake", was released in January 2009 via Silverwolf Productions.

The band in 2008 announced the addition of Matthias Kupka (ex-SUIDAKRA) to the group's ranks.
