EVERGREY To Play Romania In April
March 16, 2007Swedish metallers EVERGREY have issued the following update:
"As you may remember, we were unfortunately forced to cancel our performance in Bucharest, Romania two months ago. This was due to a vehicle malfunction and totally out of our control. We then said we would come back to make up for this, and guess what — now we are returning to Bucharest, Romania!
"Saturday, April 21st is the day that we will be at Sala Preotasa in Bucharest. We will fly all the way from Sweden to Romania just to see our Romanian fans so make sure you don't miss it!"
EVERGREY recently began work on the follow-up to last year's "Monday Morning Apocalypse", tentatively due late spring/early summer. Guitarist/vocalist Tom S. Englund described the new material as "the heaviest and darkest we have released to date."
EVERGREY guitarist Henrik Danhage recently filled in for IN FLAMES guitarist Björn Gelotte on the latter band's U.S. tour due to the fact that Gelotte's wife was about to give birth to the couple's second child.
"Monday Morning Apocalypse" was recorded at Division One Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden by the experienced production team of Sanken Sandquist and Stefan Glaumann, who have previously worked with such artists as RAMMSTEIN, BON JOVI, BRITNEY SPEARS and DEF LEPPARD.
