EVERY TIME I DIE: 'Revival Mode' Video Released

February 22, 2012

Magnificently brutal rockers EVERY TIME I DIE are unleashing an intensely moody and ambitious cinematic accompaniment to their powerful song "Revival Mode". The track is from the band’s highly anticipated new album, "Ex Lives", set for release this March 6 via Epitaph Records.

Commented EVERY TIME I DIE singer Keith Buckley: "We worked with director Robert Schober who has done incredible work for MASTODON, DEFTONES, METALLICA and now, us. The clip has a very ambiguously creepy David Lynch vibe to it and might be the first time we've never included a single one of our instruments in lieu of a story line that exists outside of us as members of a band. It's dark and weird and while not completely adhering thematically to the lyrics, it sets a larger, broader mood which marries the song perfectly."

Director Robert "Robo" Schober adds,"The video is a surrealist crime drama set on a lost highway...the story loosely interprets key phrases from the song...the guys were awesome and put up with many hours of freezing temperatures in the middle of the desert."

"Ex Lives" was helmed by renowned heavy rock producer Joe Barresi (THE MELVINS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, PARKWAY DRIVE) and offers an unrelenting onslaught of ingeniously composed and furiously executed cathartic hardcore. This is the band’s highly anticipated follow up to their 2009’s raging masterwork "New Junk Aesthetic", which Absolute Punk heralded as a musical "weapon of mass destruction."
