EVILE Interviewed By CORROSION TV

August 25, 2010

Corrosion TV conducted an interview with British thrashers EVILE at the U.K. edition of the Sonisphere festival, which was held July 30 - August 1, 2010 at Knebworth Park. Watch the chat below.

EVILE earlier in the year released a digital-only single of the band's cover of PANTERA's "Cemetery Gates".

EVILE recorded "Cemetery Gates" in 2009 for a special Metal Hammer "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN) tribute album. Tragically, it was also the last song the band recorded with its late bassist, Mike Alexander.

"Cemetery Gates" is available on iTunes, and also features a special version of EVILE's track "Time No More", with Japanese vocals/lyrics.

Alexander passed away on October 5, 2009 while on tour with the band in Sweden. According to guitarist Ol Drake, Mike died of a pulmonary embolism, a blockage of an artery in the lung.

EVILE's sophomore album, "Infected Nations", was released in September 2009 via Earache Records.
