August 29, 2007

Up-and-coming U.K. thrashers EVILE — whose Flemming Rassmusen-produced (METALLICA, MORBID ANGEL) debut album, "Enter the Grave", was released on August 27 via Earache Records — showcased their metallic thrash sound at an in-store show at Manchester's Virgin Megastore on the day of the album's release. The group's setlist was as follows:

01. Thrasher
02. First Blood
03. Schizophrenia
04. Bathe in Blood
05. Armoured Assault
06. Enter The Grave

Video footage of the performance is available below.

In a recent interview with U.K. magazine Metal Hammer, vocalist Matt Drake shared his views on wrking with the famed "Master of Puppets" (METALLICA) producer Flemming Rassmusen: "He's a family man. We went to his house for dinner and met his son. He's a bit nuts as well, but he's really nice. And he actually likes what we're doing as well. Because he stepped away from doing metal bands, and only does about one a year, because everyone is probably approaching him saying, make us sound like METALLICA."
