Ex-ATOMKRAFT Guitarist Quits AGANKAST

July 25, 2006

Former ATOMKRAFT guitarist Rob Matthew has released the following update on his AGANKAST project:

"I have decided to step down as guitarist in AGANKAST and concentrate now on the band's management side of things until such a time as a name management and/or a major label deal is secured. The decision is purely to do with time and my own work commitments being as AGANKAST are now geared up to a heavy gigs schedule over the coming year. I will still, however, be involved in songwriting and guitar work for AGANKAST and other duties, including 'making the tea.' This decision is, I feel, what is best for the band in the long term. This new developement now finalizes the AGANKAST lineup as:

Allan Scot (24) - Vocals and Bass
Ciaran Wright (19) – Guitar
James Savage (18) – Drums
Jimmy Manningham (17) – Guitar

"AGANKAST are now 100% a young, ambitious, driven old-school style heavy metal band with an ever-growing 'young fanbase.' Get along to see this band 'live' and see for yourselves. AGANKAST have some great live shows in the run up to the Bloodstock festival in september. Check out www.Agankast.com for gig listings. A big thank you of course to those people who have supported me over these past two years. I have made some great friends and it's been more than fun.. But don't get too sad now, people, because I'm not that far away as I'm still involved with the band. AGANKAST was and always will be an entourage, and that's why it's reffered to as the 'clan.' And there's only one way out of the clan , and thats in a box marked 'Knackers Yard'... So the party rolls on... Do not think of this as goodbye, but simply as: Auf Wiedersehen."
