Ex-CRADLE OF FILTH Drummer Announces First 'Two Worlds Collide' Tour Dates

July 23, 2007

Former CRADLE OF FILTH drummer Adrian Erlandsson will team up with his friend Craig Blundell for a tour in September which will be recorded a "groundbreaking" documentary DVD.

"This grass-roots DVD will show us both stepping into each other's worlds not just to become better players, but to gain knowledge of each other's field," Erlandsson previously said.

"I am going back to where Craig started in the Royal Marines Band Service, learning core rudimental drumming, and he is going back to my roots into a genre he always wanted to master, but has never been able to play.

"The nine-date 'Two Worlds Collide' tour will span the country [United Kingdom] and will show us both in our comfort zone, doing what we do best, then it all changes.

"We will be thrust outside of our comfort zones and will aim to share each other's talents on stage, in front of an audience, playing each other's music, confronting our fears and successfully mastering our unique drumming styles."

Adrian will be rehearsing and performing with Craig's drum and bass band (EXTERNAL UNIT) and Craig doing the same with Adrian's amazing metal bands at various shows in the summer. All the insecurities, pitfalls, stresses and challenges along the way will be filmed and encompassed onto the DVD including the highs and lows of the tour.
