Ex-FATES WARNING Drummer Issues SAM ASH Clinic Recap
December 24, 2008SLAVIOR/ex-FATES WARNING drummer Mark Zonder has issued the following update:
"The Sam Ash clinics last Tuesday, [December] 16 and Wednesday, [December] 17 went great. The first clinic was at the new Sam Ash Drum Shop in Hollywood. Great drum store with everything you could think of as well as a great-sounding room. My drums sounded great in the large room and I really had a good time. Sort of cool doing a clinic and looking out on Sunset Blvd. at the same time. Dave Elrod and his staff did a great job and really helped me out. The second clinic, the next day, was at the Puente Hills Mall. It rained all day and I thought this was going to be a mess as I was sick as a dog. Another great store and Dave and his staff were just as helpful as the day before. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how many people showed up. After doing a few of the clinics in the L.A. area, I am starting to see some of the same people coming to more than one clinic. Zildjian, Remo, Vater and Toca had all of the great give-aways. Everyone left with a prize of some kind.
"Starting to line up some clinics for next year. The San Diego area is a main focus at this point. Really love doing these clinics. You can be the drummer and lead vocalist at the same time!"
