Drummer Steve Jacobs (TESTAMENT, FORBIDDEN, MANMADEGOD, SPIRALARMS) joined STONE TEMPLE PILOTS on stage on August 16, 2008 at the Horseshoe Casino in Elizabeth, Indiana to perform the song "Sex Type Thing". He was invited to play the track by his longtime friend, STP drummer Eric Kretz. According to Jacobs' girlfriend Amanda Kelley, "He added his own style to the song and completely rocked it getting amazing audience reaction and god knows how many people wanting to shake his hand and buy him a beer."

Watch footage of Jacobs' performance (shot from sidestage) in two parts below.

Jacobs is currently a member of LOWA, the new band also featuring ex-GRIP INC./ HEATHEN bassist Jason VieBrooks and former MORBID ANGEL bassist/vocalist Steve Tucker.
