Ex-KISS Guitarist BRUCE KULICK Checks In From GRAND FUNK RAILROAD Tour

June 26, 2007

Former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick has checked in with an update from his current tour with GRAND FUNK RAILROAD. Read it at Kulick.net.

UNION, the now-defunct late '90s group formed by Kulick and John Corabi (RATT, ex-MÖTLEY CRÜE) along with Brent Fitz and Jamie Hunting, has posted several rare recordings on its MySpace page, including covers of EDGAR WINTER GROUP's "Free Ride" and DEEP PURPLE's "Smoke on the Water". Also available are rare performance videos, including covers of "Honky Tonk Women" and "Surrender".

UNION reunited in late 2005 to play two concerts in Japan — the first time the band performed together in about three years. Brent Fitz was unable to attend so Bruce Kulick's former bandmate and friend Eric Singer (KISS, BLACK SABBATH, ALICE COOPER) filled in. Also in 2005, Kulick oversaw the release of a UNION DVD "Do Your Own Thing Live", containing two full-length live shows plus bonus material.
