Ex-KORN Guitarist BRIAN 'HEAD' WELCH Interviewed On 'The Big Rock Show' (Audio)
November 27, 2011Former KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch was interviewed on the November 11, 2011 edition of "The Big Rock Show" with host Tina Peek. You can now listen to the entire chat using the audio player below.
Welch's new single, "Paralyzed", was released digitally on October 4 via Headdog Music.
Welch is currently working on material for a new EP, which he expects to release early next year. He said, "It is definitely some of the best music I've ever been a part of."
Welch's debut album, "Save Me From Myself", was released in September 2008 on his Driven Music Group label. The CD sold 7,800 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 63 on The Billboard 200 chart.
Welch exited KORN in February 2005 after announcing that he had been saved by Jesus Christ and was devoting his life and music to Christianity. He has subsequently issued two books and a solo CD.
The musician said in a May 2009 interview with Noisecreep that he was happy with his decision to leave KORN, although he added, "If I ever felt God lead me back to KORN for some reason, I'd go."
