Ex-LIZZY BORDEN Guitarist Seeks New Projects

May 1, 2003

Guitarist Alex Nelson has officially confirmed his departure from LIZY BORDEN.

The following is Nelson's statement on the matter:

"Even though it's been a fabulous 18 years (on and off) playing with the coolest guys I could ever hope for, it's time to move on and search for new challenges...

"I have decided to pursue other avenues . . . Lizzy will always remain one of the most talented men I've ever worked with - and we are all still good friends — however — at this time in my life I wish to pursue a different path in musical ventures. Now, I will be pursuing a solo career in conjunction with seeking out guitar-positions with any national-acts that are looking for rock guitarists....

"Any interested parties can email me at [email protected]

"Thanks to all the Lizzy fans worldwide who have always held their fists high in the air at concerts and bought the records....I will always remember the appreciation... Thanks again :)"

LIZZY BORDEN are currently seeking a Los Angeles-based guitar player with image, personality and the right attitude to join the band for forthcoming recording and live work. Songwriting capability and knowledge of the wide range of musical tastes within the rock genre are required to help take LIZZY into the 21st century.

All interested parties should send tapes/CDs/photos/bio to:
