Ex-MURDERDOLLS Guitarist ACEY SLADE Comments On Upcoming WEDNESDAY 13 Tour
December 7, 2007Ex-MURDERDOLLS/TRASHLIGHT VISION guitarist Acey Slade has commented on his upcoming stint as the touring guitarist for former MURDERDOLLS frontman Wednesday 13's U.S. tour.
"I have always felt like Wednesday and I had some unfinished business to attend to and the timing couldn't be better!" Acey said. "The stars lined up right for the first time in MONTHS! Wednesday has such a large catalog of songs and I'm very flattered to have the oppertunity to play them live. Shit, lot of people have never been able to see Wednesday and I on stage together. I feel like Christmas came early!"
Wednesday 13's All American Massacre U.S. tour will kick off late January and run until the beginning of March. The trek will also include THE VINCENT BLACK SHADOWS, THE AKA'S and CREATURE FEATURE.
Horror High, LLC has set a February 5, 2008 U.S. release date for Wednesday 13's video project "Weirdo-A-Go-Go". This will be Horror High, LLC's first release to be distributed by Caroline/EMI.
"Weirdo-A-Go-Go" features the campy and morbid sense of humor that any fans of Wednesday 13 can expect. In the first two episodes, Wednesday 13 hosts clips and trailers of cheap horror flicks, along with performing schlocky but witty skits with his strange and wacky sidekicks. The program promises to resurrect the tradition of Saturday morning TV shows that Wednesday 13 grew up on — the random creations of Sid and Marty Krofft and Pee Wee's Playhouse mixed with the comedic approach of horror hosts Commander USA, Elvira, and Zacherely.
WEDNESDAY 13 will release his already completed new album, "Skeletons", in March/April 2008. Tentative songtitles set to appear on the CD include "From Here to the Hearse", "Dead Carolina", "All American Massacre" and "Not Another Teenage Anthem".
