Ex-OLYMPIC RECORDINGS Founder Starts New Company

October 20, 2006

Former Olympic Recordings (GORGUTS, VITAL REMAINS, BEHEMOTH, IMMOLATION) owner/founder Martti Payne has started a new company called Index Entertainment.

Based in Austin, Texas, Index will be a multifaceted company with dealings in record, DVD and broadcast entertainment. Joining Payne is longtime associate Tammy Crutchfield, one-time publicist of Pavement Music and most recently a local television programmer.

Index Entertainment recently completed a deal to represent Austria-based Napalm Records for North America. The veteran company features a roster of such artists as LEAVES' EYES, ATROCITY, DRACONIAN, TYR, SUMMONING and many more.

Napalm Records is distributed nationally by Ryko Distribution and in Canada through Fusion 3. Upcoming releases include "The Realm Of Napalm Records" DVD (Oct. 24) and LEAVES' EYES' "Vinland Saga" limited edition (Nov. 7). Also, look for LEAVES' EYES on tour with BLIND GUARDIAN beginning November 8 in Tempe, Arizona.
