Ex-TESTAMENT Guitarist STEVE SMYTH Comments On Joining NEVERMORE
April 29, 2004Former TESTAMENT axeman Steve Smyth has commented on his addition to the NEVERMORE ranks as the group's permanent second guitarist. "I'm happy to take up the challenge of playing with these guys," he said in a statement. "I've always loved the music, and we get along well as musicians and friends. I really look forward to contributing on a creative level, and everything so far just feels really positive."
NEVERMORE utilized Smyth's services during the band’s 2003 European and American tours in support of DIMMU BORGIR. Additionally, in 2002 Smyth performed with NEVERMORE at Germany's Bang Your Head Festival.
Smyth, whose departure from TESTAMENT was exclusively reported here on April 20, took part in the filming of NEVERMORE's video for the track "I, Voyager", off their most recent album, "Enemies Of Reality".
