EXCITER Signs With MASSACRE RECORDS

Canadian thrash metal pioneers EXCITER have inked a deal with Germany's Massacre Records for the release of their new album, entitled "Thrash, Speed, Burn". The CD is tentatively due on November 9.

"Thrash, Speed, Burn" will mark EXCITER's recorded debut with new singer Kenny "MetalMouth" Winter, who joined the band last October. The track listing for the effort is as follows:

EXCITER will make its live debut with Kenny "MetalMouth" Winter on August 18 at The Reverb in Toronto, Ontario as part of Glory Through Steel concert series. "Our performance will include material from 1983-85, 1990-93, 1996-2004 plus new material from our upcoming new release, 'Thrash Speed Burn'," the band said. "The evening will be a headbanging, neck-snapping, fists-in-the-air gathering of Toronto metalheads."

EXCITER recently posted a live clip of their new song "In Mortal Fear", recorded during the group's 2005 appearance at the Bang Your Head!!! festival in Balingen, Germany. Watch the video at this location.

EXCITER's last CD is "New Testament - Coven of Re-Recorded Classics", a collection of reworked early songs which was released in June 2004 through Osmose Productions.
