June 24, 2009

EXCITER members Ric Charron, John Ricci and Rob "Clammy" Cohen will be interviewed on the Ottawa, Ontario radio program "Meltdown" on campus radio station CKCU.FM on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 10:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

You can listen to the program live via the Internet at this location (click on "CKCU: Listen Live").

EXCITER's latest album, "Thrash Speed Burn", was released in North America in November 2008 via Blistering Records, the new label formed by industry veterans Tomas Sunmo, Lars Chriss (LION'S SHARE) and Jim Pitulski (Inside Out Music America). It marks EXCITER's recorded debut with new singer Kenny Winter, who joined the band in October 2006.

The 1988 critically maligned self-titled album from EXCITER was reissued with new artwork on January 20, 2009 via Magnetic Air/MVD.

Elena Mihailidou and Labro Tenne of Metalzone.gr conducted an interview with EXCITER on November 21, 2008 when the band made its live debut in Athens, Greece. Watch the 24-minute chat below.
