EXMORTEM Finish Mixing New Album
June 14, 2004Danish death metallers EXMORTEM have finished mixing their fifth album with producer Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio in Aarhus, Denmark. A total of nine songs were recorded and mixed during the four-week session, including "Parasite Paradise", "Symbols Of Inhumanity", "Flesh Havoc", "The Human Rape Symphony" and "Fix Of Negativity".
"This album will bring you a massive 'in-your-face' sound that rarely is heard in death metal!" reads a posting on the band's web site. "The music, the sound, the feeling on this album is so fucking brutal and extreme that it leaves you as exhausted as a burned-out junkie...(still wanting more)!" A title for the CD has yet to be announced.
As previously reported, EXMORTEM filmed their April 30 appearance at the Fee Metal Festival in Aarhus, Denmark for an upcoming DVD, tentatively due before the end of the year. The as-yet-untitled disc will include behind-the-scenes footage and other "interesting" features.
