September 14, 2006

Guitarist Gary Holt of the San Francisco Bay Area metallers EXODUS has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"Just wanted to give everyone a brief update. The [Monsters of Mayhem] tour has been off the hook amazing! I don't think I've ever had as much fun on a tour in my life. HATEBREED, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, NAPALM DEATH, FIRST BLOOD and DESPISED ICON have been a joy to tour with, and the HATEBREED gang have been way to cool to all of us. Much respect to all of them! Many more shows to go, and I'll try to give everybody updates more often.

EXODUS is continuing to tour in support of its latest CD, "Shovel Headed Kill Machine", which was released in October 2005 via Nuclear Blast Records. Recorded at Trident studios in Pacheco, California and mixed by Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY),the follow-up to 2004's "Tempo of the Damned" is the band's first to feature new members Lee Altus (guitar; HEATHEN),Paul Bostaph (drums; ex-SLAYER, TESTAMENT, FORBIDDEN) and Rob Dukes (vocals).
