AFTER ALL guitarist Dries Van Damme conducted an interview with guitarist Gary Holt of San Francisco Bay Area thrashers EXODUS at this year's Graspop Metal Meeting, which took place June 25-27 in Dessel, Belgium. The chat, which can be viewed below, was broadcast on Dries's "All Areas at Graspop" show, which airs on the Belgian national radio station Studio Brussel.
EXODUS will help kick off Ozzfest 2010 with a one-off appearance at the San Bernardino show on Saturday, August 14.
Commented EXODUS guitarist/songwriter Gary Holt: "We are WAY more than fired up to announce that EXODUS will be playing the SoCal date on Ozzfest! We will be filling the slot usually occupied on the tour by KINGDOM OF SORROW who can't make this one show. We were asked if we wanted to jump in, and we said, 'Fuck yes!' See everybody there!"
"Exhibit B: The Human Condition", the new album from EXODUS, sold around 4,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 114 on The Billboard 200 chart.
EXODUS' previous CD, "The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A", opened with 3,600 units back in October 2007.
"Exhibit B: The Human Condition" registered the following first-week chart positions:
#22: Netherlands (Top 30 Alternative)
#35: U.K. Top 50 (Indie chart)
#23: U.K. Top 40 (Rock chart)
"Exhibit B: The Human Condition" was released in North America on May 18 via Nuclear Blast Records.
EXODUS will embark on the "March Of Brutality" tour in August with support from MALEVOLENT CREATION, HOLY GRAIL and BONDED BY BLOOD.
EXODUS filmed two videos on April 1 in Los Angeles with director Jon Schnepp ("Metalocalypse", the animated program about DETHKLOK, the world's most popular death metal band, on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim) on the old set of the television sitcom "Night Court".
"Exhibit B: The Human Condition" was recorded this past December in Northern California with producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, ARCH ENEMY, KREATOR).
EXODUS recently took part in the "Rust In Peace 20th Anniversary Tour" with MEGADETH and TESTAMENT.
