EXODUS, RAZOR Members Interviewed On 'The Governor's Ball' (Audio)
November 9, 2010Vocalist Rob Dukes of San Francisco Bay Area thrashers EXODUS and guitarist Dave Carlo of Canadian metal veterans RAZOR were interviewed for the latest episode of "The Governor's Ball". You can now stream the program in two parts below.
EXODUS' "Downfall" video was helmed by SchneppZone director Jon Schnepp of "Metalocalypse" fame (the animated program about DETHKLOK, the world's most popular death metal band, on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim) and was shot on April 1 on the old set of the television sitcom "Night Court". In addition, it features animated sequences by Los Angeles-based traditional animator Jeremy Polgar.
"Downfall" comes off EXODUS' latest album, "Exhibit B: The Human Condition", which sold around 4,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 114 on The Billboard 200 chart.
EXODUS' previous CD, "The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A", opened with 3,600 units back in October 2007.
"Exhibit B: The Human Condition" was released in North America on May 18 via Nuclear Blast Records.
"Exhibit B: The Human Condition" was recorded this past December in Northern California with producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, ARCH ENEMY, KREATOR).
EXODUS recently took part in the "Rust In Peace 20th Anniversary Tour" with MEGADETH and TESTAMENT.
RAZOR will perform at El Mocambo in Toronto, Ontario on November 12.
Formed in 1984 in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, RAZOR split up in 1992, but reformed in the late 1990s to record another album, titled "Decibels", in 1997. The band dissolved again, and reformed in 2005, and is said to be planning to record another LP.
Guitarist and primary lyricist Dave Carlo has been the only permanent member in the band's 25-year history.
