EXTINCTION OF MANKIND: 'ALE TO ENGLAND' CD Track Listing Revealed
January 8, 2007England's crust legends EXTINCTION OF MANKIND have revealed the complete track listing for the CD reissue of the out-of-print "Ale to England" EP which will be released with new cover art this spring on Canada's Moshpit Tragedy Records.
Originally released in 2002 as a seven-inch on Malaire Records, "Ale to England" features EOM's take on a few early crust classics which were recorded during their "Apocalyptic Crust" LP sessions in January 2000. The CD reissue also features nine bonus tracks which were recorded live July 16, 2005 at a celebration of the life of Wayne Southward (late singer of the band DOOM, who EOM had done a split record and toured frequently with) in Bradford, England.
A statement issued from the band reads: "The 'Ale to England' seven-inch is impossible to find, so we decided to reissue this as people are still asking for it. The deal with this (original release) was shite, the label (Malaire Records) wanted to release it but then months if not a year or more down the line we heard nothing from them?? Then we saw it available, people had it but we had not heard a thing or even got a copy. We eventually got some but we've not heard anything from the label since so thanx to Moshpit Tragedy we're having it reissued."
