April 25, 2005

Norwegian progressive thrash/death metallers EXTOL were forced to cancel their previously scheduled appearance at this past weekend's New England Metal And Hardcore Festival "because of a tornado in Kentucky," according to a post on the group's web site. "We are so sorry about that! But there was just nothing we could do!" the band write. "Thanx to all of you that have been coming to our shows so far, we love you!!"

EXTOL are continuing to tour in support of their fourth full-length album, "Blueprint" (short for "The Blueprint Dives"),available now on Solid State Records.

EXTOL recently announced the addition of guitarists Tor Glidje and Ole Halvard Sveen (both ex-LENGSEL and ex-GANGLION) to the group's ranks.
