EXTOL To Release 'Synergy' In August

May 25, 2003

Norway's EXTOL will issue their third album, "Synergy", on Aug. 12 through Century Media Records. The follow-up to last year's "Undeceived" sees the group "sticking to their unique and complex yet highly melodic style, while also incorporating a more direct thrash approach," according to an official press release.

The concept behind "Synergy", guitarist Christer explains, "Refers to the musical and spiritual unity between each individual in the band, a unity that takes the band higher than what it would have if only one individual made all the music and decisions."

After numerous shows all over Europe, as well as two prior successful tours throughout the North American continent, the band are currently preparing for a full U.S tour this summer that includes an appearance at the renowned Cornerstone Festival.
