EXTREME: Australian Tour Postponed
February 6, 2013Reactivated Massachusetts hard rockers EXTREME have been forced to postpone their previously announced Australian tour. The band's official statement regarding the matter reads as follows:
"Due to an unforeseen conflict in scheduling, EXTREME regret that they will be postponing their previously announced 2013 April Australian tour. The band are looking forward to returning to Australia and reconnecting with their loyal fans and are working with Lennard Promotions on rescheduling the tour. All tickets purchased will be fully refunded and revised dates for the tour will be announced at a later time. EXTREME and Lennard Promotions regret any inconvenience that this rescheduling may cause for those who have already purchased tickets and look forward to announcing revised dates as soon as possible."
EXTREME's "Take Us Alive" live CD and DVD came out on May 4, 2010 in the U.S. via Frontiers Records.
In 2008, following a 13-year hiatus, EXTREME returned to the stage for its "Take Us Alive" world tour, which encompassed 75 cities and multiple continents in support of the band's latest record, "Saudades de Rock".
This brilliant performance was recorded on the last night of their tour at the House of Blues on August 8, 2009 in EXTREME's hometown of Boston.
