EYES OF SHIVA: New Album To Feature Guest Appearances By SHAAMAN, ANGRA Members

January 12, 2006

Brazil's EYES OF SHIVA have uploaded tracks from their upcoming album, "Deep", at www.myspace.com/eyesofshiva. The CD, which features guest appearances by Andre Matos (vocals) and Hugo Mariutti (guitar) from SHAAMAN and Fabio Laguna (keyboards) from ANGRA, reportedly focuses on the current political themes and social issues, with the songs following a "heavier, experimental and modern" direction without sacrificng the group's Brazilian and Latin influences. The band have also paid homage to the soccer player Zico, the current coach of the Japanese national team, with a song called "Kamisama", a second version of which (with a Portuguese chorus) will be included on the Japanese pressing.

EYES OF SHIVA's debut álbum, "Eyes of Soul", was released in 2004 by JVC/Victor Entertainment in Asia and Locomotive/Warner Music in Europe and USA.

Due on January 25, "Deep" will feature the following track listing:

01. Blowing Off Steam
02. Kamisama (Guest: Andre Matos)
03. Profane Minds
