FAITH NO MORE To Perform At HEAVY MONTREAL Festival

January 22, 2015

Heavy Montreal, presented by Molson Canadian, the can't-miss rendezvous of rock and heavy metal lovers, has announced the first band of its 2015 programming. Influential alt-metal act FAITH NO MORE will perform at Heavy Montreal 2015, which will be presented in Montreal from August 7 to August 9.

In 2014, Heavy Montreal brought together 75,000 fans of heavy music to Parc Jean-Drapeau. Saturday was sold out with an impressibe lineup, including METALLICA amongst many others. The festival has become a major event in Montreal and the seventh edition is bound to be spectacular. More news about the lineup and on-sale dates for passes will be announced soon.

FAITH NO MORE played a surprise set at Amoeba Records in San Francisco, California on November 28, 2014 in honor of Record Store Day's Black Friday event and the release of the band's "Motherfucker" single.

"Motherfucker" is the first new music to come from the influential alt-metal act since 1997's "Album Of The Year". It was made available as a digital release on December 9, 2014. The B-side of the physical release is a remix of the track by JG Thirlwell.

FAITH NO MORE, which reunited in 2009 for a series of sold-out performances and international festivals, will release its new full-length album in April. The as-yet-untitled CD was recorded in an Oakland, California studio with bassist Bill Gould handling production. The release will be the first from FAITH NO MORE's newly formed imprint Reclamation Recordings, which will be distributed by Ipecac Recordings.

Prior to the new album's release, FAITH NO MORE will headline Australia's Soundwave festival in February.

FAITH NO MORE is Mike Bordin (drums),Roddy Bottum (keyboards),Bill Gould (bass),Jon Hudson (guitar) and Mike Patton (vocals).
