FAITHSEDGE Working On Sophomore Album

December 17, 2012

California-based rockers FAITHSEDGE are working on their sophomore album, tentatively titled "The Answer Of Insanity", for a 2013 release. The follow-up to FAITHSEDGE's self-titled 2011 effort is a concept record based on stories from singer/songwriter Giancarlo Floridia's life that lead up to the first album with an intresting twist at the end. It's sure to be melodic, progressive and intense!

FAITHSEDGE recently recruited a new keyboard player, Eric Ragno. Eric has appeared on many melodic rock albums from such artists as Fergie Fredrickson (TOTO) and TRIXTER and also performed with legends like Graham Bonnet (RAINBOW) and vocal icons from other genres, including Dawn Robinson of EN VOGUE.

FAITHSEDGE was started in early 2009 by singer/songwriter Giancarlo Floridia in Huntington Beach, California,. The band's all-star lineup includes former DOKKEN guitarist Alex De Rosso and drummer Tony Morra (REBECCA ST. JAMES, VAN ZANT). The resulting effort is a perfect mix of hard rock, heavy metal and progressive, with lots of vocals and hooks, shredding guitar solos, pounding bass and drums and plenty of melodically challenging songwriting.

FAITHSEDGE is:

Giancarlo Floridia - Vocals, Guitar
Alex De Rosso - Lead Guitar
Tony Morra - Drums
Eric Ragno - Keyboards
