Family Struggling To Repatriate Body Of AFTER DEATH Musician TIMOTHY KENNELLY
January 26, 2010Telegraph.co.uk reports: The family of a "heroic" teenage musician who drowned trying to save his friend off the coast of Brazil have said they will struggle to pay the "huge" cost of bringing his body home.
Timothy Kennelly, 18, died last Thursday after diving into rough waters off the Brazilian coast of Atalia in a bid to save his drowning bandmate, Leon Villalba, 21. The pair, from London, were on a six-week tour with their heavy metal band, AFTER DEATH.
Kennelly's parents flew out to Brazil over the weekend, but have since discovered that they will have to pay the full cost of repatriating their son's body themselves because none of the band members had insurance.
