Fans Carve Initials On Front Door Of OZZY's Childhood Home

February 24, 2005

According to Mirror.co.uk, Ali, 27, a designer, and his wife Asima, 26, a social care inspectior, live at the three-bedroom terraced house in Aston, Birmingham, where Ozzy Osbourne grew up. Murrabat says: "I think Ozzy is a really cool guy but he does seem a bit dense. When our family is all together watching 'The Osbournes', my dad will always say, 'I remember him,' as he used to live nearby.

"He tells me Ozzy was a real handful and always up to some sort of mischief but even as a small boy he was into his music.

"Personally I find his music a bit heavy. I prefer softer stuff like R'n'B or pop.

"I know Ozzy came back here 13 years ago to film a documentary for the BBC. I would love for him to visit again so I can show him around when we have finished decorating the house.

"We get lots of fans complaining that we're doing the place up. At the moment I don't mind them carving their initials or 'I love Ozzy' into the door, but I'm putting in a new one soon and if they do it then I will kill them!"
