FATAL SMILE Parts Ways With Singer, Announces Replacement
July 12, 2007Swedish "traditional" hard rock/heavy metal band FATAL SMILE has parted ways with singer H.B. Anderson and has replaced him with Thomas E. Blade.
FATAL SMILE recently inked a deal with Locomotive Music. The group's sophomore album, "Neo Natural Freaks", was released in the U.S. on February 20.
The follow-up to 2002's "Beyond Reality", "Neo Natural Freaks" received a European release in February 2006 via GMR Music. The CD was once again produced by Jonas Östman (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, GLORY),while the mixing duties were handled by Stefan Glaumann (RAMMSTEIN, BACKYARD BABIES).
As previously reported, FATAL SMILE is currently writing songs for its next studio album, tentatively due later in the year. According to the band, the new material "seems to be heavier and angrier than the previous ones, so prepare for some heavy duty when the 'Fatals' are delivering the goods..." Songtitles set to appear on the upcoming CD include "Black Light Morning", "Root Of All Evil", "Out Of My System", "Burn Baby Burn", "Lost Majesty", "God Bless The Lies", "Electric Storm", "United Circus", "…By The End Of The Day", "When Heaven Falls Down", "Deadly Hoax", "Twist Of Fate" and "Manic Luxury & Magic Pleasures".
