FATHER BEFOULED To Team Up With DECREPITAPH For Split EP

February 26, 2008

After a long delay, Georgia-based death metallers FATHER BEFOULED will finally release their debut mini-CD, "Profano ad Regnum", shortly via Spain's Behold the Beast Productions. The EP will contain five tracks of "unholy, graceless death metal influenced by the olden scene; slow, crushing doom, bellowing death roars and technical blasting," according to a press release. The group's full-length debut, "Obscurus Nex Cultus", will follow in the late spring via France's Gasmask Productions.

In other news, FATHER BEFOULED will team up with DECREPITAPH for a split EP, tentatively due late summer via an as-yet-undetermined label.

FATHER BEFOULED is scheduled to perform at the Sacrifice of the Nazarene Child Festival in San Antonio, Texas on June 21. However, the band has yet to secure a suitable drummer. "We have been searching but as of yet have had no solid interest," says the group.

Formed in 2006, FATHER BEFOULED completed work on a three-song demo. One track from the demo was posted on MySpace, which led to the deal with Behold the Beast.
