FELLSILENT Inks U.S. Deal With SUMERIAN RECORDS

October 1, 2008

UK metallers FELLSILENT have signed a multi-album U.S. deal with Sumerian Records. The group's debut CD, "The Hidden Words", will be released in the U.S. in early 2009, to be followed by a full American tour.

Sumerian was founded by TKO booking agent Ash Avildsen (who represents CALIBAN, CARCASS, INTO THE MOAT, ION DISSONANCE, NAPALM DEATH and VADER, among others) and hosts such bands as THE FACELESS, BORN OF OSIRIS and VEIL OF MAYA, among others.

Here's what Ash had to say about the deal: "After hearing the first 40 seconds of FELLSILENT's song 'Immerse', I knew there was something very promising about to happen. After hearing the rest of the song, I knew it was now my duty to get this band in front of as many people as possible. I am very proud to announce FELLSILENT as the first overseas Sumerian Records band, and their style of metal is exactly what we started the label on: progressive, brutal, technical but still memorable with challenging but infectious rhythms and amazing uses of melody while still being heavy, dynamic and cutting-edge throughout real displays of songwriting. Keep your eye out for FELLSILENT in North America, as we will be making sure to get these boys over here as soon as possible in 2009!"
