Female Extreme Metal Drumming Courtesy Of Estonia's NEOANDERTALS
December 4, 2007"Drumcam" footage of Sandra Vungi of the Estonian ultra-brutal death metallers NEOANDERTALS performing some of the band's new songs live can be viewed below. The clip was shot on December 1, 2007 in Riga, Latvia and marks the one-and-a-half-year anniversary of Vungi's entrance into the world of drumming.
NEOANDERTALS recently completed a Central-European tour with Latvia's FLAYING in support of the band's debut album, "Neanderthals Were Master Butchers" (out via Forensick Music).
The CD was recorded on July 3, 2006 at Matrix Studios in Tallinn, Estonia. The band put the finishing touches on the album in August 2006. Mixing and mastering was handled by NEOANDERTALS mainman Rain Pohlak. It is the first and last NEOANDERTALS album to feature drummer Roland Seer, who has since been replaced by Vungi.
